WA2NPP: Rutgers University Amateur Radio Club

Learning about Amateur Radio

Amateur Radio (better know as Ham Radio) is a fun and exciting hobby where you can meet people from other countries, help out in times of need (like during natural disasters), and learn more about electronics (you can even build your own equipment). To learn more about Amateur Radio, see ARRL's Project "Hello" and "Emergency Radio".

Don't have your license yet? We'll help you get it! It's as simple as passing a 35 question, multiple choice exam (and you get to see the questions ahead of time). We can provide you with study materials and help answer questions you may have.

Annoucements

Sadly, the club is currently on "indefinate hiatus". If you are a student at Rutgers and interested in bringing back the club, email Eric, KC2HMV (if you sent a message previously and didn't get a responce, please try again).
